Abu Dhabi Grand Prix This December – Restrictions on Vaccinated Tourists Also Eased

As the Formula 1 season hots up, Abu Dhabi is preparing to host the year’s final race; scheduled to take place from 10th to 12th December this year at the Yas Marina Circuit, the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2021 will also feature Yasalam After-race Concerts at Etihad Park. The racetrack has also undergone improvements to make for a more thrilling race as current Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton (Team Mercedes) battles it out with Max Verstappen (Team Red Bull Racing Honda).

While spectators were absent from last year’s race due to pandemic-related restrictions, they are welcome once more, though in a limited capacity. In a further boost, in September 2021, Abu Dhabi removed restrictions on vaccinated travellers who didn’t have to quarantine on arrival. This has paved the way for tourists to again enjoy holidays at luxury hotels in Abu Dhabi; available options include properties like Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Al Sahel Villa Resort where one can stay before taking a trip to Yas Island to catch the Formula 1 race.
