Abu Dhabi to offer free PCR Covid-19 tests to arrivals – Travel with ease to the UAE

For those who have been looking forward to travelling to the Middle East, this is good news! Abu Dhabi Airport now facilitates free Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction Tests (RT-PCR testing). The airport has collaborated with Tamouh Healthcare and Pure Health to make this option available to those travelling to the city.

The new laboratory that has come up within the premises has a whopping capacity to test about 20,000 people per day including arrivals and staff members. Travellers who take the RT-PCR test will be able to get results within 90 minutes. They are not allowed to leave the airport until then. If you are from a country on the ‘green list’, sightseeing in Abu Dhabi shouldn’t be much of a hassle. If you are not from the green list country, you will have to be in quarantine for 10 days before heading to a hotel like Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara.
