Thailand mulling visa-free entry for Chinese tourists – Positive hopes set for a better tomorrow

The Chinese market has always been the biggest and the most important tourist market for the tourism industry in Thailand, and due to the Covid-19 (Corona Virus), there had been a great decline in the number of Chinese tourists to Thailand in the month of February 2020. The statistics show a decline of arrivals by 43.4%, and this has had a huge impact on the industry as a whole.

The tourism industry of Thailand is monitored by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) was reaping good harvests even in the last year. Every Bangkok city hotel and ones in other regions were also contributing significantly to the development of the industry and among them, the contribution by resorts such as Pathumwan Princess Hotel is quite commendable.
