With stringent protocols in place to battle the spread of the Coronavirus or COVID-19,casinos are resuming operationsin Macau. Five star hotels including properties such as Hotel Okura Macau will continue to offer accommodation options in this popular gambling hub. Macau casinos have followed strict guidelines in terms of preventing the spread of this pandemic.
Steps taken encompassed rules for both visitors and casino operators, whilehealth declarations, the checking of body temperature and the use of face masks were amongst the measures put into place. As per guidelines implemented previously by the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau, there was a limit on the number of tables that were allowed to operate on the casino floors; additionally, players seated at slot machinesor gaming tables had to leave a free space / seat between each other
