The Abu Dhabi Classics returns bigger and better with most prominent international artists. The concert season reflecting the cultural boom of the emirates started off on the 14th October 2014 and will continue up to the 15th of May 2015. World class orchestras as well as Grammy Award winning conductors will be taking part at the musical festival.
On the 20th November 2014, a concert by Spanish conductor Jordi Savall dedicated to Ibn Battuta was performed and was considered as a highlight of the season. The musicians were seen playing Kanun, Oud and Rebab known Arabic instruments that took those who attended the concert back in time.
