Abu Dhabi Youth Council and DCT Launch “Guided” Platform for Certified UAE Tour Guides

The Abu Dhabi Youth Council, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT), has introduced “Guided,” an innovative online platform that consolidates all certified UAE National tour guides from the DCT. This platform is designed to connect tourists with qualified and passionate tour guides who are dedicated to representing the UAE’s rich culture and traditions. By ensuring that tourists are handled by certified representatives, the platform aims to foster trust and confidence among visitors. The goal is to ensure that both guests staying at Abu Dhabi resort hotels, such as the luxurious Anantara Santorini Abu Dhabi Retreat, and guests who choose backpacking and other youthful experiences, gain an authentic insight into the country.

The “Guided” platform was unveiled during the “Tourism from Youth Perspective” event, attended by His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, along with representatives from various entities and UAE National tour guides. The event focused on enhancing youth opportunities in the tourism sector and underscored the emirate’s commitment to supporting UAE Nationals in becoming cultural ambassadors. This initiative highlights the ongoing efforts to promote the UAE’s heritage and traditions through its youth.
