Abu Dhabi’s Quarantine-Free List Updated – Positive Signs for Tourism Industry

The ‘Green List’ of Abu Dhabi that features nations from which travellers can enjoy quarantine-free entry into the UAE capital, continues to be updated. The list was added to in April this year with the inclusion of countries like Germany, Spain, the United States and Kyrgyzstan and was again updated on 16th June 2021. Since this list is subject to change, travellers are urged to check for more updates before they travel (https://visitabudhabi.ae/en/plan-your-trip/covid-safe-travel/permitted-countries).

This bodes well for the local tourism industry with more travellers expected to arrive due to the prospect of quarantine-free holidays and stays at resorts in Abu Dhabi; from exploring city attractions to enjoying wildlife encounters offered by properties like Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara, there’s much to look forward to. Furthermore, the emirate has established travel corridors that offer quarantine-free travel for full vaccinated travellers between Abu Dhabi and nations like Greece, Seychelles, Bahrain and Serbia.
