Celebrating football and bringing together teams from Asia and the Australian national side, the AFC Asia Cup 2015 is scheduled to begin on January 9th. The AFC Asia Cup 2015 will feature four groups consisting of four teams each with countries including Bahrain, Japan, Republic of Korea, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and hosts Australia. The opening game will be contested between Australia and Kuwait at the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium, while the finals which will be decided on a qualifying format that involves quarter-finals & semi-finals, is scheduled to take place on January 31st in Sydney.
