For those planning a trip in April and May, Agoda is offering discounts across several Asian countries during vacation months. The travel platform’s research has identified eight affordable destinations, including Surabaya in Indonesia, Udon Thani in Thailand, Hue in Vietnam, Iloilo in the Philippines, Kuching in Malaysia, Bengaluru in India, Narita in Japan, and Kaohsiung in Taiwan.
In Thailand, Udon Thani has surpassed Khon Kaen as the most budget-friendly destination, with average room rates of 1,022 baht. Known as one of the “big four” cities in the Northeast, Udon Thani is accessible via its airport and offers rich Isan-Chinese cultural experiences. Meanwhile, Khon Kaen remains a great option for visitors, with the Avani Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre offering comfortable stays and excellent amenities as one of the finest hotels in Khon Kaen.
