Air India Announces Chandigarh-Bangkok Flight – Broadening Opportunities

Renowned Indian news publication The Tribune recently reported that Air India’s inaugural flight on the Chandigarh-Bangkok route would be on 6th October 2017. In a statement filed with the Punjab and Haryana High Court, the state manager of Air India GS Tomar declared that Air India proposed to commence regular operations along the Chandigarh-Bangkok route with four flights on a weekly basis.

Famed for its electrifying street life, exhilarating shopping experiences and the ornate temples and shrines, the Thai capital offers an array of accommodation options as well; visitors arriving from India can choose from luxury and budget hotels to resorts and serviced apartments in Bangkok including options such as Anantara Baan Rajprasong Bangkok Serviced Suites. A subsidiary of Air India and Indigo Airlines, Air India Express already operates international flights to other destinations including Dubai and Sharjah from the Chandigarh International Airport.
