Air Mauritius to resume direct Delhi flight services – Strengthening the bond between two countries

After three years of absences, Air Mauritius plans to resume direct flights between the African country and the city of Delhi in India, aiming to solidify relations between the countries. Hoping to take advantage of the strong bond between the two, representatives for the company went on to speak of the initiative as a method to boost demand for flights in both countries, potentially affecting the tourism industry and Blue Bay Mauritius hotels in the area as well.

Mauritius, being one of the prime tourist hotspots in Africa due to local attractions as well as luxury properties such as the Anantara Iko Mauritius, also has a significant Indian population, and the resuming of flights reflects the high demand for transit between the two countries – in addition to boosting relations and economies of the two.
