Air Namibia to Continue Operations as per Schedule

Flights go on as Usual

 

According to information from Air Namibia, the government has made no official decision to close the national carrier. CEO of Air Namibia, Xavier Masule stated that there was no such application for the liquidation of Air Namibia by the end of the month of September.

The CEO further stated that the airline will be receiving help from the shareholders rendering to the budgeting provisions set aside for the company. Allocations have been found at the start of the financial year for 2019. The national carrier will operate as usual right throughout. Air Namibia was initiated for the purpose of driving tourism in the country while providing air transport services and encouraging business investments.
