Akshay Kumar in Abu Dhabi: we needed rough terrain for Baby

Abu Dhabi has become one of the hottest locations for Bollywood and in keeping with this trend, the film ‘Baby’ starring Akshay Kumar also used this enchanting destination as a backdrop for some of its scenes. Co-starring Rana Daggubatti and Anupam Kher and directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film made use of such locales as the impressive Liwa Desert which is one the largest of its kind in the world and provided a stark and rough landscape. Travellers and film fans wishing to take in the majesty of this desert can stay at luxury hotels Abu Dhabi has to offer here such as Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara. Al Ain, Abu Dhabi city and local airports were also used as locations for the film Baby, which is set to offer a larger than life view of these vibrant sites in the Middle East.
