All Vaccinated Tourists Can Enter Phuket – Thailand Also Offers Quarantine-free Entry

Following the launch of its “Phuket Sandbox” scheme in July 2021, Thailand made a further update to this initiative; initially, this program was open to tourists arriving from what was deemed as low-to-medium risk nations, which was changed in October this year to include travelers from any country in the world. Subsequently, on 1st November 2021, Thailand made a further change to its overall entry protocols reopening its borders and offering quarantine-free entry to those arriving from over 60 countries and territories that were categorized as “low risk”.

To be eligible for this, travelers had to have received a full dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and stayed in the respective destination for no less than 21 days. The move has also offered easier access to the Thai capital, Bangkok; city hotel properties including the likes of Pathumwan Princess Hotel additionally follow strict health and hygiene protocols that ensure safe stays too.
