The Ta Ong Bridge at Angkor Archaeological Park was undergoing its second restoration, and it has now been completed, reinforcing the parts where it initially collapsed. The dragon-style hand railings that were in perilous condition have also now been fully restored. This restoration is said to preserve the historical and architectural value of the 800-year-old bridge for years to come.
Cambodia’s tourism has slowly been recovering after the COVID-19 pandemic, and among many Siem Reap things to do, Angkor Wat is a major attraction. Many tourists can be seen choosing hotels and resorts closer to Angkor, such as Anantara Angkor Resort for their holidays. Now that the bridge has been restored, it will soon become another popular attraction for tourists visiting Cambodia.
