ANA Set Up Benches in Angkor Wat – An Ideal Initiative to Benefit Visitors

The Apsara National Authority (ANA) in Cambodia recently set up several wooden benches for visitors in the famed attraction of Angkor Wat within easy reach of properties like FCC Angkor by Avani. This was brought to light on The Phnom Penh Post news website on 28th April 2023 which went on to reveal that the benches were placed under shady trees to be of use, especially for the elderly.

It has also been highlighted that the installation of the benches will help to protect and preserve the grass around Angkor Wat as well as the temple stones which people used to sit on when needing a rest. Such initiatives are part of the ANA’s projects to clean the environment, restore infrastructure, plant saplings, and maintain temples within the Angkor Archaeological Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For those staying at nearby hotels, Siem Reap Cambodia can be easily explored as well to gain more insights into the nation’s rich heritage and culture.
