Renowned Michelin Chef, Chef Roger van Damme recently hosted three exclusive culinary events at Anantara Chiang Mai Resort & Spa. Held at this Chiang Mai hotel on April 9th, 10th and 11th, these exclusive programmes not only gave participants a chance to savour specialised cuisine but also learn the art of preparing specialty dishes from one of the world’s most foremost patissiers who is also the owner of Antwerp’s Michelin Star, Het Gebaar restaurant.
The event on 9th April featured a Molecular Dessert Cooking Class with Chef Roger van Damme offering insights and demonstrations into the art of preparing such treats as pancakes with caramalised banana and spongecake with its own dipping sauce. The following day was marked by a special fine dining event that gave one a chance to savour some of this Belgium chef’s most famous culinary creations as part of a seven course western dinner. The last day was marked by a fine dining Asian dinner featuring a six course meal prepared by Anantara Chiang Mai Resort & Spa’s Executive Chef Prabhash Prabhakaran, while dessert was courtesy of Chef Roger van Damme.
