Anantara in the Maldives Wins Three Prestigious World Travel Awards – A Crowning Achievement

Reasserting the brand as one of the most popular in the region, Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas walked away with three prestigious accolades at this year’s World Travel Awards. This well known name in the hospitality industry has a total of four luxury Maldives hotels and resorts namely, Anantara Dhigu Resort & Spa, Anantara Kihavah Villas, Naladhu Maldives and Anantara Veli Resort & Spa. The three main awards won at the Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony of the World Travel Awards this year include Maldives’ Leading Spa Resort Brand which was given to the Anantara group, while Anantara Kihavah Villas and Anantara Dhigu Resort & Spa garnered individual awards for Maldives’ Leading Villa Resort and Maldives’ Leading Water Villa Resort respectively. Anantara first began operation in the Maldives in 2006 with the launching of Anantara Dhigu subsequently followed by the other three properties each offering different guest experiences.
