Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas Takes on New GM – Giles Selves

Giles Selves from Britain who has extensive industry experience working in international hotel chains around the world, was recently announced as the new General Manager for Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas. It is a move that is also seen as one that will enhance the reputation of the resort’s culinary offerings for those who travel to Phuket, Thailand in search of gastronomic adventures. Mr. Selves is known for his novel food and beverage concepts that he hopes to develop especially for the resort. A hotelier who has worked in coming up with culinary concepts for leading properties in the Middle East, Europe and Africa, he commented that, “We’re enhancing our culinary offerings and introducing new features that will also appeal to the many residents of Phuket who seek exceptional dining experiences in luxurious surroundings.” As part of the resort’s new culinary related programmes, it hosted a gourmet wine dinner featuring a selection of fine wines presented by the well known, Berenger Le Boursicot.
