Anantara Matches Donations with Launch of New CSR Program

In an initiative that looks to support worthy causes in Thailand, Anantara Hotels, Resort & Spas has recently launched its Dollars for Deeds program. Encompassing its twelve luxury hotels and resorts in Thailand, the programme follows a simple goal; each guest has the option of making a donation of one dollar per night, with the same amount being matched by Anantara as part of its contribution. This Corporate Social Responsibility programme will mainly focus on channelling the funds to three foundations; the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation (GTAEF) which is located in Chiang Rai and which focuses on rescuing and rehabilitating street elephants, the Princess Sirindhorn Craniofacial Centre at Bangkok’s Chulalongkorn Hospital and Phuket’s Mai Khao Marine Turtle Foundation which is involved in turtle conservation. This leading name in the hotel and hospitality industry will soon begin the Dollar for Deeds program at its other resorts in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and the Maldives.
