An event that literally took to the skies, the Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Annual Kite Fest kicked off this year. Held on 19th February, this event that was hosted by Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Resorts took place on the northern beaches of the island providing a scenic backdrop for kite flying. This inaugural festival which was open to not only Sir Bani Yas Island resort guests but the general public as well had a wide range of activities and featured prizes as well for different categories that included Most Creative Kite, Most Colourful Kite, Largest Kite and Smallest Kite. Kite making was one of the activities that visitors had the chance of enjoying while this free event also had a number of elements such as a kid’s bouncy castle, fun on the beach and bar beverages made it an ideal family day out in Abu Dhabi.
