Featured in this list was Anantara Tangalle Peace Haven Resort, one of the newest hotels in Tangalle and the first property to be opened in Sri Lanka by the Anantara brand. The term “babymoon” refers to a holiday taken by couples who are expecting the arrival of a baby and this online article highlighted resorts where parents to be could enjoy a relaxing getaway. The Anantara resort in Tangalle can be found along Sri Lanka’s South Coast and is set amidst a coconut plantation. Located by the Indian Ocean, this coastal resort features activities that include a cooking class, yoga and meditation on the beach and whale-watching excursions, while accommodation gives guests a chance to stay at beach villas as well. Additional highlights include the signature Anantara Spa which offers traditional Sri Lankan therapies and wellness treatments.
