Providing runners with a unique chance to take part in a race that goes past sites steeped in history, the Angkor Empire Full & Half Marathon 2015 with take place in Cambodia’s north-western town of Siem Reap. The race is scheduled for the 9th of August and encompasses a route at Angkor Wat, a famed temple complex at the ancient city of Angkor which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visitors in search of a boutique hotel Siem Reap has to offer within easy reach of this attraction and the race course can consider staying at Anantara Angkor Resort & Spa. Put together by the Cambodia Event Organizer, the second edition of the Angkor Empire Full & Half Marathon will also feature a 10.5 km Road Race and a shorter 3 km Family Fun Run offering runners of all ages a chance to participate in this unique event.
