AOD Alumni Amesh Wijesekera Shortlisted for London’s Fashion Scout – Bringing design to the forefront in Sri Lanka

A past student of Academy of Design, Sri Lanka, was shortlisted for Fashion Scout in London. Amesh Wijesekara has been based in London for the past year after completing his fashion designing degree in Sri Lanka and has competed against some of the biggest fashion schools. His exceptional talent is what gave him the recognition he deserved! Amesh believes boundaries are for the conventional and believes in fashion with no limitations or gender conformity.

Fashion scout is renowned for championing and showcasing emerging talent and creative design in London. Fashion scout is the UK’s largest independent showcase for developing talent during London Fashion Week. Fashion scout also provides platforms for industry selected international designers.
