Arabian Travel Market 2022 opened its doors in Dubai – Tapping into new markets

The 29th edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) was launched in Dubai with 1500 exhibitors seeking new markets to tap into. About 20,000 visitors attended the event to learn the latest trends in future global tourism investments and finance strategies. The event has an outcome of 85% higher than last year.

About 158 countries sent out representatives from hotels and airlines for the big event. The International Air Transport Association hopes to see an increase in the number of travellers to about 4 billion by the year 2024. Most attendees from abroad stayed at hotels in Deira Dubai the likes of Avani Deira Dubai Hotel bringing in better occupancy for hotels within the emirate as well. All countries that participated expect to see a rise in tourism after the event.
