An artist dubbed as “Mini Mariah Carey”, the famous Ariana Grande held a concert recently in Jakarta. The event held on the 26th of August was a sensation enjoyed by all fans. Many who attended the event from other countries in the region found accommodation at service apartments in Jakarta where renowned serviced residence providers such as Somerset Grand Citra Jakarta offered accommodation to guests. The Honeymoon Tour which took place in Jakarta will only be held in two other Asian countries, Tokyo and Manila. Hall B&C of JIEXPO hosted the concert along with the Indonesia International Motor Show. Ariana Grande’s album received three platinum sales certifications and according to Peter Hendarmin of Universal Music Indonesia, she is a bestselling artist in Indonesia and across the globe. The concert which took place for two hours sold 10,000 tickets and those who attended the event witnessed Miss Grande performing singles from her latest album My Everything. Her single featuring the Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, “Problem” won the award for Best Pop Video and the MTV Video Music Awards 2014 and topped the charts in more than 85 countries.
