Arrival Guidelines Updated for Tourists to Bali – Easier Access to the ‘Island of the Gods’

From 7th March 2022, Bali began to offer quarantine-free entry as well as on-arrival visas to fully vaccinated travellers from over 20 countries. Once they arrive, travellers need to show a negative result of a PCR test taken within 48 hours of them leaving for this popular Indonesian island. While they also must submit to an on-arrival / day one PCR test, the requirement of needing to do a second such test on day three was done away with at the end of March this year.

This came as good news to the tourism industry which is hoping to attract more travellers this year. Those who are fully vaccinated must also book at least a one-night stay at a CHSE certified accommodation provider where they can wait for the result of their PCR test; this includes options like Nirjhara where tourists can enjoy safe stays at a luxury resort Bali has to offer in the Tanah Lot region where there is a rich cultural and natural heritage to experience.
