This month saw the second edition of the Asia Pacific State of the Art Events Management Research Conference being hosted in Manila, Philippines. The event ran from 17th to 19th September 2020, with the final day being set aside for optional sightseeing for delegates. The conference was hosted at the Far Eastern University, a venue which is easy to access from a centrally located serviced apartment Manila has to offer such as those at Ascott Makati.
It was held to bring industry and event professionals, researchers and other interested parties together to share their knowledge, best practices and research regarding the field of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events). The knowledge gained here will be beneficial to the management and development of the events / MICE industry in the Asia Pacific region. Additionally, those who submitted their research findings had the opportunity to have them published as well.
