Asiana Airlines Launches Seasonal Services to Seoul from Melbourne Airport: Making Travel Ever More Convenient

South Korea’s Asiana Airlines initiated seasonal services to Seoul, joining the ranks of international carriers serving Melbourne Airport. The airline now offers two direct flights per week between Melbourne Airport and the South Korean capital, utilizing an advanced Airbus A350 aircraft equipped with 311 seats across a three-class configuration.

Seoul, with its population exceeding nine million, stands as a global economic powerhouse and the epicentre of K-Pop culture. Flights depart every Tuesday and Thursday, departing Melbourne at 10 pm and arriving at Seoul’s Incheon Airport the following morning. Melbourne Airport’s Chief of Aviation, Jim Parashos, hailed Asiana’s arrival as a significant milestone for Victoria, further enriching the region’s connectivity with key global destinations. Melbourne City hotels the likes of Avani Melbourne Central Residences will greatly benefit from this boost of South Korean visitors arriving in Melbourne, and hope this is a trend that continues to rise.
