Attractions in London Recorded Huge Boost in 2022 – More Arrivals Expected This Year

Compared with the figures recorded in 2021, London saw a huge increase in visitors to its tourist attractions in 2022; this was put in the spotlight on several news websites including the BBC on 1st August 2023. As per the findings by Visit England of its survey of 85 venues, there was an increase in visitors by a whopping 141% when compared with 2021. Meanwhile, according to another report, London saw accommodation bookings enjoy a rise of 131% in comparison with 2021 which was also significant.

These positive signs bode well for the tourism industry in London moving forward. In fact, the city is expected to record even higher numbers this year. According to predictions by analysts of Tourism Economics, in 2023, London could see two million more international arrivals than last year which will bring in an additional revenue of £674 million. Apart from offering key sightseeing attractions, the capital continues to be a popular choice for corporate travelers as well who can enjoy stays at business hotels in London. This includes city centre-based properties such as Pan Pacific London which provide easy access to the best of this multicultural destination.
