In November last year, Asian wellness retreat tour operator, Metta Voyage published online its list of “The Best Yoga Resorts in Vietnam”; one of the four properties that were mentioned was Avani Quy Nhon Resort which enjoys an idyllic private beachside location in the Binh Dinh province, within easy reach of the Quy Nhon city centre.
Amongst the highlighted aspects of this wellness resort, Vietnam has to offer was that guests had access to various programmes to help with one’s wellbeing. These included yoga, Tai Chi on the beach, walking meditation and neuromuscular integrative which features a mix of martial arts, dance and music. The article also mentioned Vietnam’s rich healing and spiritual traditions as well as breathtaking natural surroundings that make it perfect for a yoga retreat. Though the country may not be as well-known for such wellness getaways as nations like India or Indonesia, travellers are fast discovering what it has to offer.
