Bali has once more positioned itself as a premier holiday destination, at the 2024 edition of the Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards. The annual survey, conducted by the New York-based publication, dubbed Bali as the “third best island” with a score of 93.26.

Known for stunning beaches, rich culture and unique experiences, Bali has been a fixture in the travel industry for decades, a popular holiday spot for tourists from around the globe. The island’s diverse offerings, including adventure sports, wellness retreats, and culinary delights, make it a must-visit destination for travellers seeking a memorable experience.

In addition to the staples, today, the Balinese hospitality sector has welcomed several new and elevated experiences, including the premier luxury yacht charter in Indonesia, which blends traditional cultural elements, with modern, high-end facilities. The Vela Sailing Yacht, introduced by Nirjhara Bali, has perfected the niche of “barefoot luxury”, offering charters and excursions that blend sustainability and opulence.
