Bali Hotels Association makes a strong start to the new year – Taking on 2023 with a bang

The Bali Hotels Association (BHA) has announced a strong start to the new year, with members reporting an increase in occupancy rates and bookings. The association, which represents over 100 hotels and resorts in Bali, credits the positive start to the easing of COVID-19 restrictions and the successful implementation of health and safety protocols.

According to the BHA, Bali resorts have reported occupancy rates of over 50% in January, with some hotels reaching occupancy rates of up to 90%. The association also reports that forward bookings are strong, indicating a promising outlook for the rest of the year for Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort and other resorts.

Overall, the positive start to the year is a promising sign for Bali’s tourism industry, which has been hard hit by the pandemic. With continued efforts to ensure the safety of visitors, Bali is well-positioned to attract tourists and regain its position as one of the world’s top travel destinations.
