Bali welcomes back tourists in September 2020

Overcoming a global challenge

The island of Bali in Indonesia was closed for travellers due to the spread of COVID -19 but was re-opened for domestic travellers in July this year. Due to the situation that prevailed, the island was still closed for foreign travellers and this travel restriction was lifted in September 2020. However, the authorities made it clear that every related party to tourism should obey the health and safety protocols introduced by the government and the WHO during their operations.

Hotels, restaurants, and travel agents have agreed to maintain their disciplines with regards to cleanliness, and every eco-resort in Bali the likes of Nirjhara has made special arrangements for assuring the safety of their guests. While keeping the social distance, the travellers are also expected to wear masks and use hand sanitizers every time they go out in public.
