Bangkok voted world’s 6th best tourism city – a culturally rich destination worth visiting

The renowned Travel and Leisure publication presented tourists a list of best cities to be visited by those interested in travelling. According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Bangkok has been placed in the sixth position in this list. Each year thousands of tourists visit the city of Bangkok for holidays and business purposes and when seeking for accommodation, a stay at luxury hotel Sathorn such as Anantara Bangkok Sathorn could be an ideal option where the location gives easy access to shopping outlets, entertainment and business venues. Bangkok being placed in such a position by a leading travel publication will draw more tourists to the country. Readers of the magazine were requested to judge the destinations on culture, friendliness, food, shopping and landmarks and the most culturally rich destinations were featured in the list. The blend of ancient culture with modern luxury in Bangkok as well as temple and river tours had led the country to win such an accolade and hold the number one spot from 2010 to 2013.
