Batam-Bintan is Now Officially Open! Here are The Rules and Regulations as of 18 May 2022 – Get started with your travel plans

As travel begins to resume across the world, Batam-Bintan has also relaxed the strict rules that were set in place before. Countries have been categorised and it has been decided that travellers from certain countries will be under the Visa Exemption Agreement. This includes Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and a few other markets. Travellers from countries like Australia, Brazil and Canada will have visas on arrival.

However, in order to travel, you will need to submit a few obligatory requirements like a passport, a return ticket to the country of origin, proof of payment for a visa on arrival and health insurance with funds for handling COVID-19 expenses if the need should arise. With these new procedures set in place, The Residence Bintan and other accommodation options are seeing better occupancy rates. Events in Bintan are also seeing a better turnout of tourists.
