Batik Air of Lion Air Group has now declared a new flight route from Bali, Indonesia to Chennai, India. Commenced on the 23rd of July, this new service has only one flight a day at the moment, with a transit stop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This move has made Bali resorts and hotels look forward to more tourists from India in the near future and according to Nusa Dua hotel news, hotels like the Bali International Convention Centre expect business to flourish as Indian travellers usually love visiting exotic places like Bali since it has cultural sites that are fused with the Indian history, like the Ramayana and Mahabharata. This cultural similarity also includes relatives in both countries who haven’t met for years.
