“Loy Krathong – The Festival of Lights” in Thailand Falls on November 3rd this Year — An Annual Full Moon Tradition

Do you love festivals that showcase the traditions and culture of a society? Are you planning on flying to Thailand this November? If your answer to both these questions were yes, then we have news for you! The Thai festival of lights, namely, Loy Krathong, will be happening on the 4th of November 2017, which is a full moon day. The festival will happen throughout Thailand, where bread or wooden floats with flowers, banana leaves, candle and incense on them are sent out on the water. If you know you are going to be in Thailand, maybe at a hotel in Khon Kaen, and the hotel is near a water body, like AVANI Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre, for instance, do step out and check the festival out.
