BBN Airlines Indonesia Expands with New Air Operator Certificate

BBN Airlines Indonesia, a subsidiary of Avia Solutions Group, has secured an additional Air Operator Certificate (AOC) for commercial passenger flights from Indonesia’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). This certification underscores the airline’s preparedness to meet the substantial demand for flights within, to, and from Indonesia. Martynas Grigas, Chairman of BBN Airlines Indonesia, highlighted the airline’s commitment to enhancing regional capacity and ensuring high standards of safety and service in air travel. The airline aims to cater to the high demand for domestic flights and significant travel requests from India and China, extending its operational reach across the Asia-Pacific region.

To accommodate this growing demand, BBN Airlines Indonesia has readied three Boeing 737-800 aircraft for charter passenger services and three cargo planes, including Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-400 models, for both domestic routes such as those popular among tourists for Bintan hotels near beach such as the famous The Residence Bintan and international routes. Looking ahead, the airline has set an ambitious goal of expanding its fleet to 40 aircraft by 2027, aiming to bolster its capacity and better serve the region’s dynamic aviation market.
