Beond: Elevating Luxury Travel to New Heights in the Maldives

The Maldives, a haven for beach enthusiasts seeking opulent getaways, is set to witness a pioneering leap in luxury travel courtesy of Beond, an innovative airline dedicated to transforming the exotic escape into an epitome of exclusivity.

Beond envisions revolutionising luxury travel by introducing a private jet-like experience within a narrow-body aircraft. The luxurious premium cabin will feature lie-flat seats made with elements reminiscent of esteemed Ferrari vehicles.

Sascha Feuerherd, Beond’s Chief Commercial Officer, expressed their aspiration for novelty, stating, “We deliberately chose a luxury destination, a little paradise, ensuring travellers arrive fully relaxed.”

Scheduled to commence operations from the city of Malé in fall 2023, Beond will deploy Airbus A319 aircraft before moving to the more expansive Airbus A321. Dubai and Delhi are confirmed as the inaugural destinations, with the airline strategically selecting routes to compete with established carriers in the region. This initiative aims to redefine luxury travel, promising an unparalleled experience for discerning travellers venturing into the Maldives, for an all-inclusive holiday offered by luxurious resorts, such as OBLU SELECT Sangeli.
