flydubai to Connect the UAE with Penang & Langkawi – Flights to Launch in February 2024

Dubai-based low-cost carrier flydubai has announced that it will become the first airline to offer flights between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the islands of Penang and Langkawi in Malaysia. The flights, on a Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, are scheduled to start from 10th February 2024 and will directly connect Dubai with Penang. Business hotel options in the state’s capital, Georgetown, such as Citadines Connect Georgetown Penang make an ideal accommodation choice for leisure travellers heading here as well.

The flights offered by flydubai will also provide the option for a further connection from Penang to Langkawi, a popular coastal destination. The carrier aims to offer convenient travel options to passengers from the UAE, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European markets, who are looking for leisure and business opportunities in Malaysia. The country continues to be a much-loved tourist destination with its rich history, cultural diversity, natural beauty, modern marvels and gastronomic delights and these new flights will open up new discoveries and adventures.
