Sri Lanka is the beauty that floats on the Indian Ocean not very far from India itself. The island is what one might call a true paradise with rich vegetation, pristine beaches and not to mention, friendly locals too. However, the tragedy that struck the little, on Easter Sunday last year took the people of Sri Lanka and the world by surprise. Unfortunately, most thought it unsafe to come to Sri Lanka for leisure and travel.
Nonetheless, the government of Sri Lanka took firm steps to neutralise any threats to the public in 2020 and in future. Therefore, Sri Lanka has returned to being the safe haven of comforts and invites travellers to experience the rich culture and wonderful nature experiences the island has to offer to bring peace to one’s soul. When it comes to the best places to visit in Sri Lanka, there are so many to pick out. Still, the South is more loved by tourists for its great beaches and places to stay such as Saman Villas. When it comes to things to do in Bentota and Galle in the south, Jaffna in the north, Trincomalee to the east and Negombo to the west are just a few places of many with interesting things to do.
