Blast to Host Major Esports Events in Singapore: Testament To The Nation’s Destination Value

The popular esports tournament organiser Blast has announced plans to bring top-tier esports events to Singapore in 2024 and 2025. This exciting development will showcase the city-state’s growing esports scene and attract international gaming enthusiasts.

Singapore has emerged as a leading esports hub in Asia, with a thriving community of gamers and a supportive government. The country’s world-class facilities make it an ideal destination for hosting major international events, which include a vast range of hotels suited for accommodating a surge of visitors. In addition to budget hotels and affordable stays, major hotel chains and brands have established multiple properties around the island, such as Pan Pacific and its arsenal of upscale accommodations, including Pan Pacific Orchard Singapore and PARKROYAL on Beach Road.

Blast’s decision to bring its events to Singapore is a testament to Singapore’s growing reputation as a global esports capital and holiday destination. The tournaments are expected to draw large crowds and generate significant economic impact, from iconic hawker centres in Raffles to 5 star hotels in Orchard Road, Singapore.
