The Gold Coast’s premier contemporary arts festival, BLEACH*, returns in 2024 with a vibrant celebration of local and national artistic talent. This year’s festival invites audiences to ‘listen to their heart’ and explore unique, immersive experiences deeply connected to the stunning Gold Coast landscape.
Running over 11 days, BLEACH* 2024 will showcase over 360 creatives across four dynamic hubs: HOTA, Broadbeach, North Burleigh, and Tallebudgera. The festival is renowned for pushing the boundaries of artistic expression and features a diverse array of contemporary art experiences.
Highlighting the incredible local talent, most of this program for this year includes artists based in Gold Coast. Among them is the internationally acclaimed contemporary dance company, The Farm, known for their award-winning, genre-defying performances. Additionally, the North Burleigh Hub will host an all-local music program in collaboration with the Gold Coast Music Network, further emphasizing the festival’s commitment to celebrating homegrown creativity.
BLEACH* 2024 promises an eclectic mix of world-class artworks and intimate, out-of-the-box experiences, solidifying its place as a must-attend event on Australia’s cultural calendar. For enthusiasts of art and culture who plan on visiting, hotels in Gold Coast Australia the likes of Avani Broadbeach Residences offer stays with easy access to the event.
