Bodu Eid to be Celebrated in August 2019 – The Maldivian Festival of Sacrifice
A religious holiday in Maldives, Bodu Eid was celebrated on 12th August this year. Also known as Eid ul Adha or the Festival of Sacrifice, this event is important to Muslims and is observed around the world. This period also coincides with the time that the annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, also known as Hajj, comes to an end.
