Bom Dia Rising Music Festival Comes to the Rescue of Studio Bom Dia

Mozambique Studio Bom Dia recently hosted a Bom Dia Rising Music Festival in Tofo, Inhambane Province. The event took place on the 24th and 25th of September and was decorated by the performances of an eclectic array of musicians who performed free of charge. This vibrant music festival was organized after a fire incident that demolished the town’s only recording studio and sought to raise about €50 000 in funds to reconstruct the place.

Studio Bom Dia was located on the outskirts of Inhambane, the epicentre of Mozambique’s cultural enclave. The studio has seen the records of at least 30 albums from over 100 Mozambique singers, instrumentalists and musicians from around the world whilst providing a safe space for International musicians to work and rehearse with local talents, participate in workshops and adopt varying techniques. Those who joined hands to become a part of this worthy cause could not only sway to the sounds of good music but could also make the most of their holiday by staying at Mozambique resorts the likes of charming Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort.
