Last month saw Melbourne playing host to rock legends Bon Jovi as part of their ‘This House is Not For Sale’ tour. This was the first time the band had performed in Australia after a period of five years; the tour kick-started with the concert at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on 1st December. The venue, a 15 minute drive from Oaks on William is easily accessible from the city, be it a hotel or serviced apartment Melbourne has to offer, making it an ideal choice for such a popular event.
The Bon Jovi concert in Melbourne attracted approximately 60,000 fans who were treated to a thrilling show. The locally renowned Birds of Tokyo were the opening act before iconic frontman Jon Bon Jovi was joined by the rest of the band to perform some of their new and classic hits. Apart from songs from their 13th album, ‘This House is Not For Sale’, the band also performed such loved tracks as ‘It’s My Life’, ‘Keep The Faith’, ‘Bed Of Roses’ and ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’.
