Botswana Removes COVID-19 Entry Restrictions – Gaborone Amongst Key Destinations to Visit

In a move that boosted the local tourism industry, Botswana removed COVID-19 entry restrictions for international travellers as of 18th October 2022. This adds to the nation’s appeal of being a perfect place to visit this holiday season with tourists being able to enter regardless of their vaccination status; additionally, they do not have to show a negative result of a PCR test taken before embarkation either.

With such ease of access, Botswana’s top destinations such as its capital can be experienced once more; travellers can look to stay at hotels in Gaborone that offer safe accommodation and enjoy the best of the city. Amongst the highlights are the Gaborone Game Reserve and Stanbic Bank Gaborone Golf Club; tourists can also play games of chance at a casino and win big at Avani Gaborone Resort & Casino which makes an ideal accommodation choice as well.
