Bridge to Brisbane Community Fun Run 2018 – Running for a Noble Cause!

The annual fund fundraiser event, Bridge to Brisbane Run for Brisbane was arranged and successfully completed on the 26th of August this year. The event has been taking place since 1997 and every year the run has a unique theme and goal which brings social awareness. This year’s purpose of the run was to bring awareness and raise funds for kids living in families that are affected by mental illness. Thousands of running enthusiasts and social activists participated in the event. Reports also state that many tourists who were stationed at hotels in Brisbane CBD the likes of Oaks 212 Margaret also participated in this year’s event. The running course of the event extended for a maximum of 10 kilometres and participants also had an option to choose a 5 kilometre run too.
