Bridging the Artistic Realm – An Exhibition of Sublime Art

Bridging the Artistic Realm is an art extravaganza held from 25th March till 30th September with backing from the United World College of South East Asia global concerns titled “Bali Bridges”. It was hosted at Alila Manggis and featured sublime works of art, photographs and figurines. For those who were in Bali this September, a visit to the exhibition was one of the best and most memorable things to do. Candidasa is a serene and an unusual spot in contrast to the rest of Bali that helps awaken the artistic side of visitors. The exhibition displayed works of artists and photographers such as James Wilkins, Michael Dabue, Laila Azra and of course Silvana Sutanto. Those who love beauty and cherish reflecting on the subtle beauty that artists capture enjoyed this display of elegant masterpieces and savoured the inspiration that was drawn from the effervescent hues of East Bali. Visitors who wanted to take a dab at painting, also had the chance to take part in the Ocean Side Art Class conducted by Michael Dabue.
